Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally inaugurated Phase 1 of Noida International Airport at Jewar and laid the foundation stone for a 40-acre MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facility. The airport, built at an investment of roughly ₹11,200 crore, is designed as a net-zero emissions facility and is expected to boost connectivity for Western UP districts including Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad and Etawah.
